Merry Xmas... again!

I can't quite believe that it's already Xmas again and another year is almost over. It's been quite a ride and I want to say thanks to everyone for all the love and support throughout the year.

Y'all have a Merry Xmas now... and a great start into 2016!
Happy holidays!

Fantasy Football: ABBF Posterboy

Over the years I've been doing a lot of artwork related to my most favourite Games Workshop game ever... Blood Bowl. So I thought it was high time to showcase some of that art, starting with the ABBF Posterboy, the official mascot of the Auckland Blood Bowl Federation.

I created this piece when the Auckland City Guard Blood Bowl League (ACGBBL) changed its name to the Auckland Blood Bowl Federation (ABBF) about 10 years ago, in an effort to create a more inclusive league for everyone in Auckland.
Since then, the artwork has been hijacked to serve as the logo for the annual Greenstone Cup Tournament here in NZ, as well as several Blood Bowl related blogs and websites around the world.

As of yesterday, the design is also available as prints, t-shirts, and various other products from my Society6 shop. If you fancy getting your hands on a copy, visit the shop via the link below and receive free shipping and $5 off until the 8th of November (Free Shipping Offer excludes Framed Art Prints, Stretched Canvases, Wall Clocks, and Rugs):

Chromacon, Society6 Update, and some ABBF Classics

 Chromacon 2015

Chromacon, New Zealand's very own Indie Arts Festival, will be happening on 18th and 19th of April at Aotea Centre, Auckland. If the previous event in 2013 is anything to go by, it will be awesome, and much bigger than the last one. So I'm super excited to be part of this year's fantastic line-up of local and international creatives. You can check them all out here:

I'll have plenty of prints, postcards, and posters for sale at my booth, including some brand new material. I have also contributed a piece to the Chromacon Artbook Vol. 2, which will be on sale on the weekend and through their online shop (after the event):

I really hope that all of you that are local can make it along. It's free admission to the public, so there's really no reason not to. In the meantime, here's a short interview I did for the Chromacon blog:

Look forward to seeing you there! :)

ABBF Classics

As I'm furiously working away on some new ABBF merchandise, these classic designs become available as t-shirts and whatnot for the first time.

This one, "Season of the Dead", was the very first one... and is probably still my favourite.

This one, "Stunty Season", was the second in the series... and features much more action and chaos.

This one, "Season of Chaos", the last in the series... and also the most refined one.

Get yourself a piece of New Zealand Blood Bowl history and grab one of those classic designs while they're available!

Dark Heresy 2nd Edition: Forgotten Gods

It's been too long!
So I thought I'd post some more work I did for the 2nd Edition of Fantasy Flight Games' Dark Heresy RPG. The following artwork was published in the first supplement, titled Forgotten Gods.

In addition to the usual characters and scenes, I also got to try my hand at doing an environment... which still has a few dubious characters lurking about as well. Plus some more concept sketches for the denizens of this grim dark setting.

Prayers for the Dead

The Grave World
